Ms Jacqueline is the Managing Director and one of the founders of EFL. Prior to establishing EFL, Jacqueline worked with Barclays Bank as a Credit Analyst, where she acquired vast experience in the field of banking and microfinance. Before joining Barclays, Jacqueline worked with NMB as a Loan Officer for three years. As the first Loan Officer at the University of Dar es Salaam Branch, Jacqueline participated actively in setting up the credit section for micro loans at the Branch.
As a loan officer, she was involved in a number of microfinance operations, such as designing and developing loan products; marketing and promoting micro credit; undertaking business and client appraisal; loan disbursement and follow-up to ensure the timely repayment of loans by clients; and delinquency and risk management. Jacqueline holds a Diploma in Business Administration, Bachelor of Education in Commerce and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Dar es Salaam. She has attended several courses on managing the Company and she is working with the Company on a full-time basis. During her leadership the Company has witnessed tremendous growth that indicates her ability to run the business.
