Ms. Jacqueline LujuoMANAGING DIRECTOR
Ms. Jacqueline Lujuo is the Managing Director and one a co-founders of EFL. Prior to establishing EFL, Jacqueline worked with Barclays Bank (Absa) as a Credit Analyst, where she acquired vast experience in the field of banking and microfinance. Prior to joining Barclays(Absa), she worked with NMB as a Loan Officer for three years. As the first Loan Officer at the University of Dar es Salaam Branch, Jacqueline participated actively in setting up the credit section for micro loans.

She was involved in a number of microfinance operations, such as designing and developing loan products, marketing and promoting micro-credit,appraising businesses and clients,disbursing and following up loans to ensure their timely repayment by clients, and managing delinquency and risk. Her initial exposure to credit management and analysis motivated her to setup and run a microfinance institution that provides real financial solutions to clients and other stakeholders. In the last ten years, she has focused on developing EFL, playing a central role in implementing its strategic plan. During her leadership tenure, the Company has witnessed tremendous growth,indicating her ability to run the business and transform EFL.
Jacqueline holds a Diploma in Business Administration from the College of Business Education (CBE),Bachelor of Education in Commerce and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Dar es Salaam. She has attended several courses on management and leadership, credit management, risk analysis and microfinance. Her vision is to transform EFL into a leading microfinance service provider in the country.
